My mother deserves a relaxing and revitalizing week. She deserves more than that.
My mom has such a stressful job both at home and at work. At work my mom writes grants and helps raise money for victims of crimes. She works so many hours a week often late into the night with soo many people depending on her. She is the first one to leave in the morning and usually the last to get home. When she does get home she mothers not only four boys, including three teenagers, she graciously cooks diner every night without fail. She spends soo much time preparing diner and then even helps with the dishes. She also has to cook a separate meal for my youngest brother Joseph. Joseph has severe allergies to almost every food that we eat everyday. Because of these allergies my mother has to make 3 separate meals a day for him. With a vast array of combinations of pills and medicines that Joseph needs everyday, the pressure of trying to keep track of all of the pills and getting refills really takes its toll on my mother.
Even through all of this my mother drives us to sporting events, practices, and doctors appointments. She manages to attend all of our sporting events and even though her schedule is chaotic she still manages to love us everyday. My mother deserves this week of relaxation because she is the most caring and devoted mother in the whole world.
Me and my brothers love her very much and think that just this small thing would go a long way in showing her that we appreciate, and know what she does for us and our family day in and day out. Submitted by John, Luke & David

, I would love to marry her off to in her definition a “Godly hunk”), being a single mom, and having two teenage kids, she gets just about no help cooking and keeping the house in order. She also has a billion friends that are either in the hospital or come to her for help and support (at least five call a day).
) She is constantly running herself into the ground and more than once has overworked herself until the point where she is physically sick.
Janie is an inspiration to all women. Her daughter’s not bad either in her demonstration of compassion and love for her mother. A winning combination and one that gets my vote.

I’m so moved by Janie’s compassion and her desire to give a sense of femininity
and optimism back to other women stricken by cancer. That she has continued to do so as a widow, who is still suffering from losing her beloved mate, marks her as a truly special woman, deserving of every little bit of pampering she can get. I’m also touched by her daughter’s devotion to her brave and spirited mother.
